What is the turnaround time to complete my site?
For a templated website, the turnaround time is two business days. For a custom designed website, the turnaround time is a minimum of two weeks.
Can I make changes to my site?
Yes, you can edit the content on your website. Either go to My Matrix and click on 'My Website' to log in, or go to www.getyourownrealestatewebsite.com to log in.
Can I add more pages to my site after it is completed?
Yes, contact us to discuss your options.
Do I have to have a templated site?
No, you can also have a custom designed website.

We also offer custom-designed websites. Design fees start at $2000, with a monthly maintenance fee of $59.95 because they have more features. Click to view samples of some previous creations.
If I have someone else design a site for me, can you build me a website using that other design?
Yes, please put us in touch with your website designer so we can discuss what we require, any pointers etc. Prices to set up the site will depend on whether we do the coding, we 'build' the website or not. Often, it is easier and cheaper for you, once you have the website designed, to have us build the website.
I already have a website hosted elsewhere, but want to have the listings displayed on my website. Can I?
Yes, contact us to discuss the options.
Can I see how many people have visited my site?
Only for custom designed websites, go to your Control Panel and view your website statistics.
How do I get to be #1 in Google?
For custom designed websites, we do everything we can for free as part of your monthly fee, meta tags, free submissions, Google analytics, traffic reporting. If you want more online promotion, we will refer you to one of two companies we deal with, that are experts in their fields, with successful track records. Although keep in mind that results are not guaranteed. Basically, they do an assessment, recommend changes and run a campaign to increase ranking. Campaigns vary from $3000 to $10,000 or more. Contact us if you are interested.
Financial issues:
If I want to cancel my website, how do I do that?
Contact us to cancel. We need to know your name, your website, and your agent ID. Note that we require 30 days notice to cancel.
If I want to cancel my website, how much notice do I need to give?
If you want to cancel your website, please give us 30 days notice. If you give us less than 30 days notice, we will still invoice you for the 30 days.
Can I pay for a full year at a discounted price?
Yes, we give a 10% discount for one year pre-payment.
What if I want to transfer my site away?
If we have registered your domain name then we will give you full control.
How many email accounts can I have?
For a templated website, you can't get any email accounts. for a custom designed websites you can have an unlimited number of email addresses, along with a Control Panel to add more email addresses, change passwords, and add your own autoresponders.
How can I check my email from another computer?
For a custom designed website, you can check your email on any computer by going to the Control Panel on your website, such as at www.yourdomain.com/admin/ and clicking on 'Check email'.
Domain names
Can I have multiple domain names pointed to my site?
Yes, let us know what other domain names you have. The cost is $5 per month, to a maximum of $15 per month.
What if I have more than 5 domain names to point at my website, what is the cost for that?
The cost for pointing domain names is a maximum of $15 per month, so 5 names or 10 names would still be $15.
Can I register other domain names through you?
Email us the domain names you want us to register.
I already have a domain name. What do I change the Domain Name Servers (DNS) to?
When your new, custom designed website is ready to go live, change the DNS to:

Where are you located and what are your hours of operation?
We are located in Victoria BC, and our office hours are: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays. We are in the Pacific Standard Time zone.
